Migration from Lightspeed to Shopify (custom theme and online shop set-up)
Can you support us with the migration from Lightspeed to Shopify, including the development of a bespoke Shopify theme?
The task, therefore, was to migrate the existing Lightspeed eCom online shop to Shopify and to provide support throughout this migration. The project spanned a period of six months, and the online shop went live in January 2026. A wide range of integrations with internal and external Shopify apps were either migrated or set up again as part of this process.
What we did was analyse and evaluate the existing design to identify areas for improvement, given that we were about to switch to a different e-commerce platform; this was the perfect opportunity to explore how we could make the most of the Shopify platform to maximise the online shop’s profitability and ensure we could continue to drive conversions in the future. This involved the need to automate more processes, establish links with external apps and provide greater support for the community. We achieved this through integrations with, amongst others, Klaviyo, Zendesk and wishlist and back-in-stock features.
