Lightspeed eCom

Lightspeed Commerce is a provider of point-of-sale and e-commerce software, based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The company was founded in 2005.

In 2015, Lightspeed acquired the Dutch e-commerce software platform “SEOshop”, which had been offering an online shop platform since 2008, primarily for small and medium-sized enterprises. SEOshop was renamed “Lightspeed eCom” and further refined to offer full integration with the company’s retail POS software.
